How are Change Requests Completed and Approved?

The Change Request module is accessible by Cority employees, supervisors and their managers to quickly record change requests that they have observed as required or recommended. The change request may include findings, questionnaires or documents.

The change request will be routed through the various approvers listed on the change request, according to the sequence defined in the EnvironmentalManagementofChangeType, QualityManagementofChangeType or SafetyManagementofChangeType look-up table. When an approver approves a change request (see Reviewing Change Requests), the request is then routed to the next level of approver, who receives an email notification that a change request is awaiting their review and approval.

Upon final approval, the Approved check box (in the Details section of the change request) is selected and the person who initiated the request is notified.

You can configure the notification email message in the LettersTemplate look-up table.

If enabled in the Cority Automatic Email Notification settings, an email may be sent to alert approvers (or initiators, or both) that a change request approval is due or overdue. For more information, see Working with MAEN Settings).
